Eva's novels

My three novels!
The inspiration I get for my stories comes from my own interests and experiences and of course from all the places that I have visited around the world. For example the story for The Hawksley Pearls came to me on one of my many visits to Singapore, sitting at a bistro on Club Street, looking at the old restored warehouses or godowns as they are known. My style of writing? 'Feel good' stories with happy endings - just the sort of books that I enjoy reading myself!

A Portrait of Alice. Can one painting from the past bring love to the present? One painting. Two strong, independent women living in two different centuries. Whilst in Venice, Toni falls in love with a painting and buys it, not realising what an impact it will have on her life. Alice grows up in a poor house in Victorian England and escapes through hard work and her extraordinary beauty. Follow these two women's sometimes turbulent journeys, from Victorian Venice to the hectic pace of modern day New York and how their lives connect in a most surprising way.
Feedback
Brilliant read from start to finish. Congratulations. Look forward to next one.
(Mr RB, UK) I have loved reading every one of your books. I love the way they move back and forwards in time, the attention to detail and the people who are in them. You write in such an informed way, each of the places begin to feel as though I've been there and visited them. I love your work and I can't wait to read your next book. I shall spend some time guessing the next plot. (Mrs K M-D, UK) I have just finished your new book A Portrait of Alice. It is a credit to you and I am sure there are many other millions of people out there who will enjoy it too. The hidden author in you is well and truly "out". (Mrs NB, Malaysia) |
Your writing is fluent, with a fun and entertaining plot. Good luck with the next one.
(Mr JH, Denmark) I received your book yesterday and could not put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it - it really is a good yarn and the characters came to life. I like the way you have intertwined the old and the new across the globe. (Miss SL, UK) A "must-read" for women and men who love the good life. It is like watching a movie, with its detailed descriptions of settings. The story flows in an effortless yet genius arrangement of plots. A wonderfully written dramatic and romantic tale by a woman who loves life with the brightest light and warmest heart. (Miss YTW, Malaysia) |
Sorry, at the moment Eva's novels are not available for purchase.

I compiled and produced this book which was published by the RSGB in 2008. It is the most comprehensive guide available today to obtaining an amateur radio licence in over 200 countries and territories. It also features many of the rental stations that are available around the world for hire by radio amateurs. There is a 32-page colour section with spectacular photographs of rental stations, including some of the most impressive antenna set-ups in the world.
